Boogie Bougie is the Antwerp-based candle brand founded by Pieter-Jan (PJ) Boucquaert, a true master of scent and atmosphere. I knew PJ through mutual friends but didn’t realize he was the creative mind behind these incredible candles until I made an appointment to discover the collection, what a lovely surprise! I love it when great brands are run by amazing people, and that’s definitely the case here. We instantly bonded over the fact that we both left corporate jobs around the same time to follow our own creative projects.

Boogie Bougie was born from PJ’s deep love for fragrances and the ritual of lighting a candle, turning a space into a home. Each candle is handcrafted in their Antwerp atelier, blended with rich, layered scents that transport you to forest walks, windswept beaches, blooming gardens, or faraway places.
My personal favorite? Siberian Firewood an absolute must.
