Viktoria Von Malottki
Some connections just feel right. I first discovered Viktoria through her jewelry — I instantly fell for her playful, minimal Road Ring, and when I went to pick it up, we met in person. I was drawn to her gentle nature, her kindness, and her thoughtful, creative eye. She was also one of Nomad’s very first customers.
When I had the idea for the lioness necklace, and later, a duo mussel necklace, Viktoria was the obvious person to ask to help bring them to life. Together, we created two special pieces, both crafted by hand in Antwerp, both carrying a little more meaning than just their shape.
Viktoria is an Antwerp-based designer who grew up near Leipzig, Germany. With a background in fashion and embroidery (including time in London), she eventually found her true calling in jewelry, earning a Bachelor in Jewelry Design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. She founded her label in 2019 out of a deep love for handcraft. Her work is playful, organic, and sensitive, often blurring the lines between art and design — but most of all, it’s jewelry that puts a smile on your face. Every piece is handmade in Antwerp with a focus on sustainability and zero waste.

The Lioness necklace
The Lioness Necklace was born from a personal search, I was looking for a Leo coin necklace, something special to reflect my sign and love of jewelry, but nothing I found felt quite right.
Inspired by an old Iranian coin (a nod, perhaps not by chance, to one of my dearest friends who is Iranian), I sat down with Viktoria to share my idea. She quickly brought the vision to life, starting with a wax prototype that felt perfect from the start.
This necklace is more than just a piece of jewelry, it’s a quiet tribute to the lionesses we hold close: our friends, our sisters, ourselves. It’s a celebration of strength, loyalty, creativity, and the deep, courageous spirit we all carry inside.
Handmade in Antwerp, available in sterling silver or 18k gold-plated silver.

The Mussel necklaces
On a road trip through Morocco with my now-husband, we sat down for a plate of seafood — and there, hidden among the shells, he found the tiniest, most perfect mussel. It was such a small, simple moment, but it stayed with me: a little symbol of togetherness, connection, and a shared memory.
The two halves of the mussel immediately sparked the idea of creating a piece for two, something you could share with another person, two halves making a whole.
I brought the shell back to Antwerp and asked jewelry designer Viktoria von Malotki if she could cast it into something lasting, and she could.
That’s how the Mussel Necklaces were born: a pair of matching pendants, each one half of the shell, celebrating love, friendship, and the quiet bonds that hold us together, no matter where we are.
Handmade in Antwerp, available in sterling silver or 18k gold-plated silver.
